SweetLorraineIt seems a kindly gent named Fred Stobaugh from Peoria lost his wife of 75 years.

He wrote a song about their love, then submitted the song to a contest.

The words were set to music by Jacob Colgan, and the song has gone viral.

You can see the story and hear the song  courtesy of YOU TUBE

OR, buy the song from iTunes for a buck – the money goes to Fred.

OR, but it from Google – ditto.

‘OH SWEET LORRAINE’ BY FRED STOBAUGH

‘Oh Sweet Lorraine I  wish we could do The good times All over again

Oh sweet Lorraine Life  only goes around Once But never again

Oh sweet Lorraine I  wish we could do All the good times  all over Again
